Vendor Application

Welcome to the FoodInRoot vendor application page. New potential vendors, please complete the application below for all Arizona markets.

NOTE: All vendors selling home baked and confectionery goods must register with the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). All other food related products (including any sampling) must be in full compliance with the proper health department authority (e.g. Pima County OR Maricopa County), including proper permitting and licensing before vending at any event. No exceptions.

If you have questions about the market rates and fees, or other policies, make sure you have read over the basics here.

Note that this application is used for all FoodInRoot markets and regular events (for the VegOut application click here), and you will be notified about the particular requirements of each market/event pending your approval. Vendor Application

    Please select the most descriptive choice for your business
  • Please be as specific as possible and tell us about what you do. Mention anything that makes your business unique (E.g. Local ingredients, allergy friendly, family business, etc).
  • Locally sourced is defined as a product or ingredient that is grown / made within 150 miles of where it is consumed. (E.g. Bread made and sold in Tucson that uses flour grown in Mesa would be considered local).
  • A canopy / tent / umbrella is not mandatory for all events, but may be recommended.
  • Note: If you have a canopy / tent / umbrella and do NOT have weights, you will need to obtain them.
  • If you haven't thought about becoming a Rooted Member, you should.
  • Tell us anything else you would like from us, or things that you think we need to know as we consider your application for our markets (i.e. How long have you been in business, where else can you be found, etc).
    Please select all that apply and submit copies with application if possible. If unable to do so now, you should have copies of the selected documents available if admitted into any FoodInRoot markets. Certain vendors may be required to carry Health Department permits for the appropriate county of the respective market locations (Pima or Maricopa). Permits not required for this application, but will be needed before setting up at a market (if applicable).

    Check all markets/events that you are interested in participating in. Be sure to view the market pages to be familiar with the current days and hours of operation. *Operates on varying weeks during Fall and Spring Semesters only. See website for more details.
  • By typing your name above, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Vendor Guidelines and agree to abide by the rules and regulations as stated within those guidelines. You also agree, as a participant in FoodInRoot Farmers’ Markets, to hold FoodInRoot LLC, and their respective agents and employees, harmless and to indemnify them from any and all claims of any kind or nature which may be made against FoodInRoot LLC as a result of your own actions or failure to act, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. By typing your name you agree to this waiver of liability, assumption of risk and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms, and understand that you have given up certain rights by signing it, and have signed it freely and voluntarily without any inducement, assurance or guarantee being made to you and intend that your digital signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
    Please review all information to make sure that your application has been completed accurately and all required fields have been met before clicking the "Submit" button below. All approved vendors are covered via FoodInRoot's insurance policy at any of the markets in which they participate. You should hear back from us within 5-10 days.
